Ms. Danielle Fajen is an experienced middle school Social Studies educator in Kansas, with eleven years of teaching experience, including seven years focusing on early American history. She holds a BA in Middle School Education with an emphasis in Social Studies from the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), earned in 2013, and an MA in History from the same university in 2023.

Ms. Fajen is deeply passionate about teaching history and is a strong advocate for engaging historical curricula that resonate with all students. She believes that it is crucial to incorporate a diverse range of resources and instructional strategies that enable students to actively investigate the past, thereby bringing history to life for them. Ms. Fajen firmly believes that students have the capacity to connect with the past, and it is our responsibility as educators to build that bridge and facilitate their understanding and appreciation of history.
